Walk our quiet and wooded campus cross-country trails, explore the local Lake Norman State Park, learn to raft at the U.S. National Whitewater Center or hike nearby mountains including Crowders Mountain.

Tucked between the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina and the picturesque Carolina coastline, Davidson is fortunate to experience all four seasons. With winters cold enough to catch a flurry but mild enough to enjoy the outdoors, and spring and fall seasons that shower our campus in vivid foliage, there's no bad time to experience campus.
